Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 October 2026
This policy explains how HumanElements (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal information when you visit humanelements.ai or contact us. We collect as little as we need, and we never sell personal information.
Who we are
HumanElements is operated by Daniel Jones. For anything relating to this policy or your personal information, contact us at daniel@humanelements.ai.
What we collect
When you contact us. If you use our contact form or email us, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, organisation (optional) and your message.
When you browse the site. We use privacy-friendly website analytics, provided by our website platform, to understand how the site is used: for example, which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. These analytics are aggregated, do not use cookies, and are not used to identify you.
Technical data. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the site securely.
How we use it
To respond to your enquiry and correspond with you about it. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or taking steps at your request.
To understand and improve the website. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a useful website.
To keep the site secure and working. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating the site safely.
We do not use your information for marketing unless you ask us to keep you updated, and you can stop that at any time.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run the website and handle enquiries. These include our website host and platform (Framer) and our email provider. They process information only on our instructions. Some images on the site are delivered by third-party services (for example, Unsplash), which receive standard technical data such as your IP address when the image loads.
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
We will only disclose information to others if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and related correspondence for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we need to keep them longer for an ongoing collaboration or a legal reason. Analytics data is held in aggregated form.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
access the personal information we hold about you
have it corrected or deleted
restrict or object to how we use it
receive a copy of it in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, email daniel@humanelements.ai. We’ll respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
