These terms apply to your use of humanelements.ai (the “site”), which is operated by Daniel Jones (“HumanElements”, “we”, “us”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Using the site

You may use the site for lawful, personal and professional purposes. You must not:

  • misuse the site, for example by introducing malicious code or attempting unauthorised access

  • interfere with how the site works

  • use automated means to copy large parts of it, except as permitted below

Our content

Unless stated otherwise, the content on this site belongs to HumanElements or its authors. This includes text, research papers, articles, graphics and design.

You’re welcome to read, share links to, quote and cite our work with clear attribution to the author(s) and HumanElements. Some research outputs may be published under their own licence (for example, a Creative Commons licence) or by a third-party publisher. Where that’s the case, the licence or publisher’s terms shown with that work take precedence.

Some images on the site are in the public domain or licensed from third parties. This includes historical scientific illustrations and NASA imagery. They remain subject to their own terms.

Not professional advice

Our research and articles are for information and discussion only. They do not constitute medical, clinical, legal, regulatory, financial or other professional advice. Nothing on the site should be relied on for decisions about patient care or other professional decisions without appropriate professional judgement.

Views and affiliations

Views expressed in our publications are those of the authors. They do not necessarily represent the views of the institutions or organisations the authors are affiliated with. Where authors hold commercial roles relevant to their work, these are declared.

Accuracy

We work hard to make sure our content is accurate. However, research evolves, and we don’t guarantee that everything on the site is complete, current or error-free. We may update or remove content at any time.

Links to other sites

The site links to third-party websites and publications for convenience. We aren’t responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, we provide the site free of charge and “as is”. We aren’t liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its content.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date shows the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
